Meet the folks who make it all happen. We see big potential in every moment, & care deeply about what we do every day.
Dr. Chelsea Byrd
Medical Director
Even as a young child, Dr. Chelsea Byrd felt a strong calling to work with animals. While her family always had pets – from horses to turtles and everything in between – Dr. Byrd’s most cherished companion growing up was a cat named Morris (a.k.a. Orris, a.k.a. Mo). When Morris became ill and was hospitalized, Dr. Byrd made a promise to become a vet so she could learn how to fix him as well as other people’s “Mo’s.” And the rest, as they say, is history!
Dr. Josie Flowers, DVM
Owner/Chief Medical Officer
Like most in the veterinary industry, Dr. Flowers has always had a deep compassion for animals. However, she did not set out, nor did she ever wish upon any star in the known galaxy, to one day own a veterinary practice. Who would want that kind of stress? Practicing is stressful enough! Yet, for the first time in her storied life, she finally feels as though she has found her true calling: taking care of the people who care for the animals.
Dr. Genevieve Hoffman
Veterinarian
There are various reasons why veterinarians choose to enter the world of animals. For Dr. Genevieve, the reason is simple – she wanted to connect not only with patients, but also with clients. As a veterinarian at Veterinary Health Center, she relishes the opportunity to help animals bond with their humans!
